The most important thing I have gained from my experience at Wright State is the wisdom from beyond the textbook that my professors shared. My professors contributed their real-life experiences in business to my education and development as a marketer. For example, Dr. Rosemary Ramsey critiqued my résumé, helped me prepare for interviews, and provided insight into what I could expect in the corporate world. Now, as a member of the Customer Insight Board, I seek to give back in the spirit of my mentors by mentoring current WSU marketing students. I also speak in undergraduate business classes at WSU, where I talk about ACCO Brands and promote our internship program and careers in marketing.  I am passionate about marketing, and I try to inspire students with that passion.

I was born and raised in New Bremen, Ohio, as the younger of two children.  My beautiful wife, Meghan, and I currently live in Beavercreek, Ohio.

My professional career began in 2006 with a marketing internship at MeadWestvaco, which became ACCO Brands in 2012.  ACCO Brands is the leading consumer and office products company in the U.S.  Since 2007, I have held a variety of fulltime marketing positions for the company, contributing to brands such as Mead®, Trapper Keeper®, Five Star®, AT-A-GLANCE®, and Wilson Jones®.
