"When I moved in the US a little over five years ago, Wright State was the obvious choice for me according to friends, family, and even strangers! I transferred my credits very easily with help from the University Center for International Education. Supply Chain Management was the best option for me since I want a career in purchasing."
Why Wright State?
I enjoy the idea of being the liaison between companies and organizations and to the community and public at large. I hope to work for a non-profit that will allow me to better communicate what they have to offer to the community. Marketing is very adaptable to many different types of careers and I like the idea that I can mold my own position and skills.
Tips for Success
Dare to take action! Don't be shy to talk, ask questions, and get involved in organizations that inspire you. If you don't find one, create you own. You will never feel alone at WSU. Every one is approachable starting with President Hopkins who is just a good guy. It's your future, so make it happen!
Leadership
I was lucky to join the French Club during my first year, and helped during some of their events like campus tours for high school students. I also helped revive the Supply Chain Management Club as part of the APICS Wright State Student chapter as President of the Club. During my last quarter at WSU, I was among the 12 student ambassadors working with the Office of the President, and got to meet wonderful people as part of my work.
Internships/Class projects
I completed my capstone project with a manufacturing company in Dayton. We were able to help them with their inventory management and forecasting their orders. It was a nice addition to my resume. I also interned in a boutique that opened a little over a year ago. They gave me the latitude to apply everything I learned in my Operations Management classes to their growing business. Career Plans: I am lucky enough to have opened a small business with my husband. It is growing, but I want a corporate experience as well, so i will apply for a full-time position in my field.

Most Valuable Experience
The ability to complete my honors research project with the help of my faculty advisor, Dr.Hamister. This was very rewarding from an academic and personal point of view. Wright State gave me opportunities to push myself farther. I was recognized among my peers for my academic and leadership achievements. It is always good to feel appreciated and WSU does appreciate its students!
