As I enter the Raj Soin College of Business and the business profession, I solemnly and willingly declare the following:

Keynote Speaker: Beth Hunter, Senior V.P. and CFO from Speedway and WSU AlumnaBeth Hunter

Beth Hunter is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Speedway LLC.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Hunter was director of Investor Relations for Speedway’s parent company, Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC). Ms. Hunter was a spokesperson for the company with the investor community and worked with senior management to provide investors with tools to assess MPC’s investment attributes. Prior to her Investor Relations role, Ms. Hunter was assistant controller in the company’s Accounting Process and Control organization, working with the refinery controllers and the Sarbanes-Oxley Control Process group.

Ms. Hunter has also served as the assistant controller of MPC’s Consolidation and General Accounting organization, and assistant controller of Operations Accounting. She worked in MPC’s Marketing organization from 2000 to 2003 as a pricing manager and manager of the Marathon Brand’s Northern District.

Ms. Hunter joined Emro Marketing Company (now Speedway LLC) in 1987 and has served in a variety of positions within the retail side of the business, including controller of Speedway SuperAmerica LLC, sales accounting manager, procurement manager, Western Division coordinating manager, advertising coordinator, and accounting analysis supervisor.

Ms. Hunter graduated from the Wright State University with a bachelor degree in accounting and is a certified public accountant. She is married and has two daughters.
