About

Nicholas Bradley, '14, B.S.B., Finance

I loved my experience at RSCOB. I did not have your "traditional" college experience (I'm married, have four children, and work full-time), but I was always included and encouraged by the faculty and staff. The majority of my classes were in the evening and had a great mix of traditional college students and student's with families like myself. The classes at RSCOB had hands on experience and application in the homework assignments and group projects. All of the instructors had relevant industry experience and related the course work to real life application. It was obvious that my instructors genuinely cared about my success at Wright State.

Due to my schedule, I did not participate in any leadership activities on campus. Off-campus I am an assistant coach on a little league baseball team, lead a teen small group at my church, and am a student member of the Dayton CFA Society.

My academic achievements include graduating Cum Laude and being accepted into the National Honor Society.

My favorite experience was working with a team of students to build an investment portfolio and present it before a fund manager from James Investment Research. It was intense knowing that he would question our methodology and selections in front of the class.

I am registered for the Level I CFA exam in June of 2015 and received a scholarship for the exam from the Dayton CFA Society. I am also only about four classes shy of a second Bachelor's degree in Economics which I hope to finish at a future date when I am not also studying for the exam. I am currently working in the financial services industry for Fifth Third Bank as a Licensed Personal Banker.
