About

Samantha Caspar, '12 B.S.B. International Business

I chose to major in business because of all opportunities a degree in business brings. Business is one of the fastest growing and best fields to enter. I chose international business because I am very interested in cultures that differ from my own. We live in a globalized world in which international trade and cultural interaction is vitally important . I also chose international business  because competency in a second language and an internship are both required. This challenged me to broaden my horizons and gain hands-on experience in the field of international business. Currently I am completing a paid internship at Standard Register with their international strategic planning team.

I will began law school in the fall of 2012 at the University of Alabama with a generous scholarship and two opportunities to study abroad.  I have also been accepted into the joint JD/MBA program and will completing an internship this summer at the Environmental Protection Agency. My goal is to pursue a career in environmental law and international human rights law. I am also interested in international business law. My international business degree and extra-curricular activities at Wright State prepared me to receive acceptances to numerous law schools, including Ohio State, Emory, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Arizona, University of Cincinnati, the University of Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana University at Bloomington, Iowa, Tulane, and Washington & Lee. Some of the major factors of my acceptance into so many great law schools was a result of my strong involvement in extracurricular activities, the Honors Program at Wright State, and the outstanding preparation I received from my professors and courses.
