The marketing department and my fellow classmates at WSU remind me of an extended family; always offering support, advice, and a wealth of knowledge. If I had the chance to choose a different university, I would choose Wright State every time.
I did not begin my college journey with marketing and sales in mind, in fact I was more interested in accounting. After completing my Principles of Marketing course with Dr. Rosemary Ramsey, my attention was set on a new path. I dove into the curriculum and immediately enrolled in four marketing courses, set up a LinkedIn account, and built strong bonds with a few marketing classmates that I now call some of my best friends.
I am so thankful for the marketing department and professors at WSU for bringing so many opportunities to students and encouraging them to get involved in different clubs and programs. I have completed an internship with Miami Valley Pet Therapy Association, an opportunity offered to me after completing a project in Dr. Goodrich's Emerging Technology course. I have since begun my internship with Speedway LLC, which I would not have known about had I not been a member of the Customer Insight Program at Wright State.
