Placement Exams

Placement exams are an option if you are qualified and wish to test out of one or more of the following courses:

  • M.B.A. 5200: Survey of Economics
  • M.B.A. 5300: Survey of Finance
  • M.B.A. 5800: Survey of Quantitative Business Analysis

Eligibility

To be eligible to sit for a placement test, you must have academic credit in the related field. For questions regarding eligibility, please talk to your M.B.A. advisor. 

You must complete placement exams prior to taking the MBA core courses.

Pre-Registration

If you are eligible, you will be approved for placement exams during your initial advising appointment. You cannot schedule exams without first securing advisor approval. For more information on the testing process or to initiate testing approval, please follow up with your academic advisor in 100 Rike Hall or by calling 937-775-2437.

If you have already been approved, please contact the host department to schedule your test date and time.

Test Dates and Location

The MBA placement exams are offered online by each individual department.

Exam Results

Placement exam results will be sent to your official Wright State email account.

Follow Up

After receiving placement exam results, follow up with your advisor to update your degree audit report.
