Nyswyn is a graduate of the 2017 Master of Information Systems cohort. He completes the Master’s program achieving a high level of academic performance and an impressive level of participation in courses throughout the program. His capstone project, “Customized Customer Relationship Management for US Ecology,” focused on the analysis and development of a custom CRM application. This application synchronizes customers and contacts with three legacy business applications in a company and has had impressive growth through acquisitions. The power of the capstone project, however, is much broader. It is to set the stage for a revolutionary transformation of IT at US Ecology. Nyswyn’s project begins that journey and is truly reflective of the lessons learned in the Master’s program.
Nyswyn's excellent academic record and high achievements made him the receipient of the ISCM Outstanding Graduate in 2017! Nyswyn said, "Wright State University provided me an opportunity to learn academic principles from business leaders who had practiced them for decades. It was extremely refreshing to learn together with highly motivated students who are veterans from diverse industries. The curriculum of the MIS program was very rigorous and well planned which enabled me to gain in-depth knowledge on the subjects and complete the program within one year.
