Whether you’re an incoming first-year student, a senior about to graduate with your college degree, or a new transfer student, your Wright State University academic advisor will help you define and achieve your academic goals. Academic advisors will:

Graduate Academic Advising

Academic advising for graduate programs within the Raj Soin College of Business takes place in the Academic Departments. The only exception is MBA. Students in the MBA program are advised by a member of the Advising Staff.

How to Schedule an Academic Advising Appointment

Current students should schedule using the Academic Advising Appointments website.

During peak advising times (i.e., registration for classes, graduation, etc.), appointment times will fill quickly. Please plan ahead and schedule your appointment well in advance.

Best Practices for Students

  • Visit your academic advisor at least once per term
  • Come prepared to academic advising meetings: review your degree audit, have your course selections, questions, and other materials ready for discussion
  • Be open and honest about your educational goals
  • Ask questions about issues you do not understand
  • Follow through on advisor recommendations, suggested resources, and referrals
