About the Business Degree Completion Program

The Business Degree Completion Program is designed to help adult learners who return to college to earn a bachelor’s degree in business at the Raj Soin College of Business at Wright State University.

The Raj Soin College of Business partnered with the AES Foundation, which committed $35,000 annually for five years to support the Business Degree Completion Program.

1. $25,000 more per year: The average income of those with a bachelor’s degree in business exceeds that of individuals with some college, but no degree, by an average of $25,000 per year. For an individual who returns to college and earns a bachelor’s degree in business, the total income increase over 30 years is nearly $560,000 (Bureau of Labor Statistics).
2. 70% increase in total career earnings: The median total career earnings for a bachelor’s degree graduate are roughly 70 percent higher than for someone with some college but no degree (Brookings Institute).
3. Low tuition rate: Wright State’s tuition rate is among the lowest for Ohio four-year universities.
4. Scholarships every semester: The Raj Soin College of Business degree completion program offers scholarships up to $1,500 per semester.

Qualifying for the Program

The general criteria to qualify for the business degree completion program are:

• At least 25 years old
• Ohio resident
• Have been away from college for at least one year or directly transferring from a community college
• Have earned some college credit hours from a regionally accredited college (at Wright State or transferrable)
• Committed to completing a bachelor’s degree in business at Wright State University

Success Stories

Raj Soin College of Business launches Degree Completion Program The Business Degree Completion Program is aimed at people between the ages of 25 and 45 who have completed at least 60 semester credit hours and want to return to college to complete their bachelor’s degree in business.
