Recent graduates from Wright State’s Raj Soin College of Business passed the Chartered Financial Analysts ® examination Level 1 with an 80 per cent pass rate, surpassing the national average of 35 per cent.
C.H. Dean Inc. has promoted Edward Wright to trader/portfolio analyst. Wright, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business in 2008, joined C.H. Dean in July.
CareSource has promoted L. Tarlton Thomas III to chief financial officer. Thomas previously was vice president of finance and interim CFO. He has more than 17 years of financial leadership experience.
Valerie Van Winkle (B.S.'86) has 18 years of banking experience, and has helped start a successful community bank, Canyon National Bank, in Palm Springs, CA.
David R. McSemek is a senior vice president of investments in the Dayton office of Smith Barney, the nation’s second largest retail brokerage firm.
Zachary Allen received the Recent Graduate Award. Allen, who holds a bachelor's degree in business from Wright State, is a commercial and life insurance producer for Trojan Insurance.
