Real-World Experience

Classes are focused on experiential learning, allowing students to apply concepts learned in class to real-world situations. We encourage our students to take an internship during their summer semesters. Internships are coordinated through the college’s career management office, which makes sure you are aware of hiring information and job and internships announcements.

Admission

Students who are currently studying or have graduated with a business degree from an AACSB-accredited college of business are eligible to apply. Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in Business Administration may also apply but may be required to complete the prerequisites to the courses chosen in the certificate program. For current Wright State students, please complete the Business Analytics Certificate application form (PDF), and return it to daniel.asamoah@wright.edu. If you are not a current student, please first submit the application in the Admissions Portal and select your student type as non-degree seeking, and then complete the Business Analytics Certificate application form (PDF) and return it to daniel.asamoah@wright.edu.
 



Program Outcomes

This certificate features multidisciplinary courses focused on the practical skills and concepts important to understanding business analytics. The skills you learn in this certificate will allow you to analyze data, extract relevant and valuable information, and influence decision making through powerful and interactive visualization and data communication.
