About the Advisory Board
The Information Systems and Supply Chain Management programs at Wright State University recognizes the need for students' participation, perspectives, and feedback on relevant policies, procedures, and programs at the department. To this end, the ISSCM Student Advisory Board consists of a group of students selected from the MIS and SCM programs.
The board provides feedback, support, and guidance relevant to the (Management Information Systems) MIS and Supply Chain Management (SCM) academic fields. The board also helps to implement and promote the fields' initiatives on student recruitment, student engagement, and student success.
Mission Statement
The mission of the ISSCM student advisory board is to educate and inspire future leaders in MIS and SCM, and to share the needs and expectations of students in the Raj Soin College of Business with the faculty and staff.
Membership
- Students must be enrolled in any either the Management Information Systems program or the Supply Chain Management program
- Students must commit to serve for at least one semester
- Student must be in good academic standing
Member Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between students and the academic and administrative staff in the MIS and SCM fields.
- Offer recommendations and perspectives on MIS and SCM's programs, procedures, and policies.
- Support and promote MIS and SCM fields' initiatives and programs.
- Actively participate in enhancing student development via student-led activities (e.g., career development).
- Commit to attending meetings throughout the academic year (meetings will be approximately once a month with relevant chairs, faculty, or other board members. Specific details are yet to be determined).
