International Business Club

The mission of the International Business Club is to serve those students of Wright State University who share a common interest in international business. We strive to accomplish this goal through the education of students in cultural awareness and global business issues through:

  • Providing networking opportunities through seminars
  • Sponsoring guest speakers
  • Organizing field trips such as company tours and public conferences
  • Volunteering our services to the community

Human Resources Club

The Human Resources Club exists to create opportunities for students interested in human resources to develop career and social awareness, professionalism, leadership skills, and industry contacts. The Human Resources Club earned the Society for Human Resource Management (S.H.R.M.) Student Chapter Superior Merit Award in 2015. The S.H.R.M. student program includes over 450 affiliated student chapters and more than 20,000 student members. This club, led by a dedicated group of student volunteers, truly represent the future of the human resources profession.

Management Club

The mission of the Management Club is to serve those students of Wright State University who share a common interest in management. We strive to accomplish this goal through the education of students in aspects of management and business issues through:

  • Providing networking opportunities
  • Sponsoring guest speakers

Advanced Leadership Development Course

Students have the opportunity to apply for enrollment in a special section of MGT 4800 for the 2018-2019 academic year that will cover advanced leadership development.

You will:

  • Earn three credit hours over a full academic year (1.5 credits during Fall Semester 2018 and 1.5 credits during Spring Semester 2019)
  • Assist in re-organizing the Management Club or the International Business Club
  • Receive credit for serving as a leader in your student organization
  • Review and learn key leadership skills and competencies
  • Build your story to share when speaking with potential employers

This course is: 

  • Open to any student who will be either a junior or senior student beginning Fall Semester 2018
  • Open to any student currently in a club leadership role OR any student who would like to be actively involved in learning advanced leadership skills
